VIENTO INCIERTA (
BLOND BOMBSHELL ARCHIVES
)
________________________________________
Blonde Bombshell was my very first shrine and it has a very special place in my heart! Dedicated to Kiryuu Nanami of Shoujo Kakumei Utena, it first opened sometime in April 2000
and was hosted on Geocities. It was even picked as one of Anipike's Weekly Web Picks!
I no longer update this site, but I still do love Nanami and I'm really proud of the way that this site has grown. Unfortunately, I lost a lot of Blonde Bombshell's old layouts and only have a few of the more recent ones. ;_;

August 2001 (feat. Kiryuu Nanami of Shoujo Kakumei Utena)
This was actually the third version of Blonde Bombshell, since I lost the previous two versions. ;_; Now, I don't know what I was thinking when I chose such bright colours, but even though I liked the colours generally, the text colour I chose made
it pretty hard to read. Also, I had a little misunderstanding with a Japanese fanartist about the image I used there -- I had originally found the Nanami image in some image gallery, and the artwork looked just like the official artwork. I figured it was
just a scan from some SKU paraphenelia, but it turns out that it was fanart and the artist sent me a rather angry email telling me I used it without permission. I did try to explain and ended up putting up another layout, but she kept emailing me every
week until it was up! In retrospect, I don't really blame the artist though. I just wish that people who run image galleries wouldn't steal from fanartists or at least give them proper credit.

September 2002 (feat. Kiryuu Nanami of Shoujo Kakumei Utena)
I'm always surprised when a cyan layout works out. It's not that it's an ugly colour, it's just I always feel like I'm not going to come up with a colour that works with it. A few splashes of white and yellow seem to even it out though, and overall I did
like this layout. I do recall being really uninspired while making this layout -- there's just not that many Nanami images to work with and I think I had the majority of them on my hard drive already. It's pretty simple, but I like that, and the text area
was very readable and roomy.

October 2005 (feat. Kiryuu Nanami of Shoujo Kakumei Utena)
I don't have screenshots of Blonde Bombshell's first two layouts, but let me reassure you, they were very yellow. You know, Nanami's outfit/hair being yellow, it just seems like her default colour, so I tried to avoid making another yellow layout.
But I love this layout! Roomy and readable text area: check. Cute rollovers: check. You can't really see it, but those pixel uniforms on the navigation were made by me, and I adore how they turned out. Pixel things just make me happy in general.
This is the final layout for Blonde Bombshell, and I can really say that I'm happy with leaving it dormant that way.
