++ ABOUT HEN NA IKIMONO
Name(s): Hen Na Ikimono
While on a picnic (during the fourth TV episode), Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema encounter this strange bear. It somehow follows them to Gamers. The Bear scares Dejiko, and for some reason is strangely indestructible. It can avoid Dejiko's laser beams and apparently also has a bottomless stomach, as it once swallowed a Godzilla-like monster when it attacked the Akihabara District. It lives in a cardboard box that has a sign reading, "Please, take whatever you want." It becomes an addition to the Gamers store, and still continues to creep out green-haired store clerks and customers alike.
The Bear is known as "Hen na Ikimono", and the reason why it scares Dejiko so much is because of the expressions on its strangely vacant face. She can't tell whether or not it's laughing, crying, angry, or depressed (as all of the emotional depictions are on the Bear's face). In addition to its eerie facial expression, it seems to move in a freaky, stilted manner -- if not outright flying around in the cardboard box. When it ends up living at Gamers, it becomes associated with a "trash bin" of sorts -- where things that Dejiko and company want to forget end up being thrown (such as the broomstick that Dejiko broke when she and Rabi~en~Rose were fighting one episode).
I have reason to believe that the bears actually live on a mountain, which is located behind the school that Rabi~en~Rose and Minagawa attend. Episode four of the TV series had them going on a picnic, towards the large, unpleasant looking mountain -- where they meet Hen na Ikimono. Later, during episode four of DiGi Charat Hanami, Rabi and Minagawa go the mountain behind their school, only to find a hollowed out-tree, where thousands of those freaky bears lived. I think that one bear just made its way down to see what Dejiko and company were up to, and it happened to follow them back to Gamers...
