      Rik is the oldest member of Pyocola Keeping Operations, and he acts as the Black Gema Gema Dan's Field Marshal. Rik is often seen with a serious expression on his bespectacled face, and often takes lead in plots to capture Dejiko -- a fact that annoys Ky and Coo. Rik is devoted to serving Pyoko's every whim, and sometimes gets a little riled up over protecting her. He is a veterinarian by occupation and because of this, he seems to always have some sort of small creature on his shoulder, or around him. Rik is extremely sensitive to animals and goes out of his way to befriend them...

      In Pyoko's little family, Rik acts like a father towards Pyoko. He wears the Black Gema Gema Dan's red armband pinned to his arm, and the dog ears and tail that all the other PKO members have. And like the other two members of PKO, Rik's character was created to balance out the dominantly female cast (thus attracting more fangirls..)
