Episode 1: Here comes Pyoko, nyo!
("Pyoko ga kita, nyo!")

It's now summer in Akihabara. Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema are out running an errand for The Manager. Dejiko and Gema are complaining about the heat, when Puchiko spots "something bad" flying in the air. It turns out to be a panda shaped spaceship, which has landed in Akihabara. Dejiko tells them not to worry about it -- but Puchiko comments that something has come out of the ship. Dejiko insists that they hurry back to Gamers before anything happens, but a shadowy girl jumps behind Dejiko and grabs her tail. Puchiko states that something has grabbed on to her tail -- but Dejiko ignores both Puchiko and Gema's warnings, and starts to sing.

The scene changes to Rabi~en~Rose, who is working hard at Gamers. Dejiko and company return to the store. The Manager congratulates Dejiko on a job well done, but then asks who the girl behind Dejiko is. Dejiko finally notices, and asks the strange girl who she is. Rabi happily asks if the girl is the new summer help, as Rabi wants to relax over summer because she's been working so much. Minagawa spots a small panda face on the girl's hat, and mistakes it for meaning "bread" ("pan" = "bread") and starts to ask the girl if she likes bread. Kimura asks the girl if she ends her sentences strangely, like Dejiko and company. Takeshi and Yoshimi pop up out of nowhere and proclaim their devotion as Dejiko's fanboys. And suddenly, the entire store seems to be talking, much to the strange girl's puzzlement. The girl suddenly calls everyone stupid, and Dejiko retorts that she isn't a frog (instead of "baka", which means "stupid", Dejiko thought she said "kappa", which means "frog"). Rabi states that Dejiko is the stupidest of them all. Suddenly, Gema notices the red armband on the girl's arm, which has a large letter "B" on it. The girl gets angry because Gema interrupted, and puts Gema to sleep with a blowdart. Dejiko yells at Gema, telling him that the floor is no place to fall asleep.

The girl then turns her attention to Dejiko. She introduces herself as Pyocola Analogue III (known as Pyoko), and that she is the boss of the Black Gema Gema Dan. Dejiko spazzes and says that the Black Gema Gema Dan was the notorious group who attempted to invade DiGi Charat planet. The customers hear Dejiko and start to run out of the store. Gema says that thanks to the efforts of the real Gema Gema Dan, the invasion failed, and the Black Gema Gema Dan went back to Analogue planet. Pyoko recounts that when they returned to Analogue planet, they had to endure years in poverty. Pyoko reveals that she now has a plan to get money -- she plans to kidnap Dejiko and hold her for ransom. Everyone starts to panic. Pyoko also states that she should get a lot of money, since Dejiko is princess of DiGi Charat Planet. Rabi is shocked to hear that Dejiko is royalty, and Gema explains that when the Black Gema Gema Dan tried to invade DiGi Charat planet, the King and Queen sent Dejiko and company to Earth. Dejiko runs away, and Pyoko runs after her, followed by Puchiko, Rabi~en~Rose, Minagawa, Kimura, and Gema. Takeshi and Yoshimi also want to follow, but are stopped by a very scary looking Manager, as someone has to help clean up and close the store.

Dejiko continues to run, but is stopped by the appearance of the Black Gema Gema Dan troups. She knocks them down with her eye beams, but is confronted by Pyoko. Pyoko begins to attack Dejiko with her mouth bazooka attack, and the two of them proceed to level Akihabara with their fighting. One of Pyoko's attacks was headed towards Puchiko (who was watching the fight and eating), but she is saved by Kimura. Similarly, Rabi also is in way of an attack, and as Minagawa runs to protect her, Rabi simply flicks away the offending attack with her rabbit ears, and mistakenly hits Minagawa. Dejiko stops Pyoko, and tells her that her attacks have destroyed Akihabara (except for the Gamers building), and that she should be sorry she caused so much trouble for everyone. Suddenly, Paya Paya arrives and starts to babble about how rich he is, and how they should take care of the earth. Gema remarks that the mood has noticeably changed. Dejiko says that she's going home, and Pyoko says that she will follow her.

Everyone is in the room above Gamers. Rabi asks if she can turn the TV on, but it won't turn on, because it's not plugged in. Puchiko claims that odd things come on the screen, sometimes. Just then, a scary face appears on the screen, causing Rabi and Minagawa to scream. Pyoko complains that she's hungry. Dejiko suggests that they all drink DiGi Charat Natural Mineral Water for dinner, and Rabi wonders if dinner will really be just water. Pyoko gets up and says she's leaving, and that she only wanted to annoy Dejiko. Everyone is puzzled by Pyoko, as she wanders away from Gamers...

Episode 2: It's the Black Gamers, nyo!
("Black Gema da, nyo!")

Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gema are out running another errand for The Manager. As usual, it's quite hot outside, and Dejiko is asking why they have to run in such hot weather. Dejiko and Gema argue loudly, but continue to run. They pass by Paya Paya, who is slithering down the street, singing. He starts to babble again, and suddenly states that staying in the city is actually ruining his body and spirit. He latches onto a random person passing by, and Paya Paya drags him into a nearby cafe to discuss taking a trip somewhere.

Meanwhile, Dejiko is on the verge of collapsing from heat stroke. Gema tells Dejiko that Gamers is only five meters away. Dejiko runs into a spot that has shade, and promptly goes to sleep on the road. Gema wonders what made the shade, and Puchiko points out a large, black building that cast the shadow. The black building is called "Black Gamers", and makes Gema very suspicious. Puchiko states that it's being run by the Black Gema Gema Dan, and wonder what evil plan they're hatching. Dejiko begins to talk in her sleep. The Manager appears, and notices the Black Gamers store. The Manager optimistically assures them that Gamers will be fine, but Gema is still uncertain.

Several days later, Black Gamers is doing extremely well, but Gamers is experiencing bad business. Since Black Gamers opened, Gamers has had no customers. Dejiko stats that Pyoko took all their business away. The Manager tries to be optimistic, but is really depressed that no one is coming. Puchiko bluntly says that the store is going under, and The Manager collapses. Puchiko also says that if the store goes under, she'll have no where to live. Kimura suggests that Puchiko live at his mansion, where a room has been prepared, but Puchiko tells him she won't go. Dejiko gets angry, as she realizes that Takeshi and Yoshimi are both lined up at the Black Gamers store.

Dejiko drags Takeshi and Yoshimi back to Gamers and yells at them. They start to cry, and apologize profusely. They claim that going to Black Gamers was like an addiction, and they couldn't help themselves. Dejiko says that she's going to go have a talk with Pyoko. Dejiko, Puchiko, Gema, and Rabi~en~Rose all march to across the street, only to find that the inside of Black Gamers is a spooky place where all the customers are possessed. Dejiko begins to back away, but Rabi drags her inside the store. Puchiko approaches one of the attendants and asks to see Pyoko. The Black Gema Gema Dan members feign innocence, but Puchiko insists. The Black Gema Gema Dan army mockingly laugh and state that Pyoko is on the top floor of the building, because that's where a big boss always is -- and the building has no elevator. Dejiko hedges a bit, but eventually, she is ready to climb the stairs. Pyoko then appears, claiming that there were too many stairs to climb, so she stayed on the main floor. Pyoko explains that if Gamers were to go out of business, she thought Dejiko would come with her to Analogue planet. Dejiko tells Pyoko to stop doing the evil stuff, and Pyoko gleefully summons the possessed customers to drive Dejiko and company out of the store.

Dejiko is in a bind, as she can't use her eye beams on the customers. The crowd gathers and starts to squeeze Dejiko and company. Puchiko wiggles out and uses her eye beam, but instead of a laser, a slimy substance comes out, and it covers the customers, returning them back to normal. Now that the customers are okay, Dejiko begins to attack the Black Gema Gema Dan with her eye beam. The building collapses, due to Dejiko's attacks. The next day, Gamers is back to normal, with many customers. Gema wonders what happened to the Black Gema Gema Dan, when suddenly, Pyoko appears and asks if she can buy a game. Outside the store, Paya Paya is rummaging through the wreckage of the Black Gamers store, finds a small plant growing in the rubble, and proceeds to accidentally kill it. And just when it all seemed all right again, we see Abarenbou is back, and running towards Gamers...

Episode 3: The return of Abarenbou!
("Kaette kita Abarenbou!")

The Black Gema Gema Dan and Pyoko are wandering around in the streets, dying from the heat. Dejiko is out on another errand for The Manager, which happens to be a box that makes loud clanking noises. Pyoko hears the noise and starts to scream from irritation. Dejiko forgets which way to go, but decides to just run around in circles, causing Pyoko to have a breakdown. Pyoko collapses on the pavement, and ends up burning her face, due to the hot asphalt. Angrily, Pyoko proclaims that Dejiko is annoying and must be defeated. A small crowd gathers, and they wonder what all the commotion is about, concluding that the fuss is probably Gamers related. Abarenbou appears, and smiles, as he says he hasn't heard that name in a while. Dejiko returns to the store, and tells everyone she managed to get some ice cream. She asks where Rabi~en~Rose is, and finds Rabi curled up in her rabbits ears. Unused to modern air conditioning because she's lived in poverty for most of her life, Rabi~en~Rose is freezing. Dejiko pesters Rabi a little, and then offers her some ice cream.

After the ice cream is eaten, Dejiko comments how the store feels like Hawaii and the Alps are in the same room. Rabi continues to freeze, when Minagawa appears. He has knitted a swear for Rabi to wear, so she won't be cold. Kimura also has a present for Puchiko -- a waist wrap, which is far too big for Puchiko. Meanwhile, Pyoko and the Black Gema Gema Dan are approaching Gamers, fully intent on defeating Dejiko. But as soon as they enter Gamers, the Black Gema Gema Dan disintegrates and starts to fool around, due to the fact that the building is cool. Dejiko demands to know why Pyoko showed up, and suddenly, the store is awash with people who want to cool off from outside. Dejiko gets annoyed and prepares to fry some freeloaders, when Abarenbou appears in the doorway and stops her.

Abarenbou claims that the store he knew wouldn't blast customers, then proceeds to spout water from his head. He dries up, and Puchiko offers to water him again. Once watered, he starts to babble about how Gamers is a place for joy and socializing. Everyone is confused. Abarenbou suddenly starts to sing, while perched precariously on a large cello. Pyoko is especially confused. Then, Abarenbou stops and comes over to Pyoko, saying that she's grown. Pyoko is spooked and backs away. Abarenbou is caught up in old memories, and Pyoko is left to wonder what is going on.

The flashbacks begin. Abarenbou is a cart puller, and Pyoko's father is asking him what his name is. Another flashback of a younger Pyoko, and this time, she's crying. Abarenbou is telling her to stop crying, as her father won't be pleased with her. Another flashback shows Abarenbou running in a race, with Pyoko cheering for him. The next shows Pyoko landing on the ground, with Abarenbou egging her on to be tougher. A memory of Abarenbou playing large drums for the villagers appears, and Pyoko is cheering for him again. At this point, everyone in Gamers is crying, because they weren't aware of the relationship between Abarenbou and Pyoko. Pyoko claims that she has never seen Abarenbou in her life, but is also teary eyed.

Dejiko pops out of her teary reverie and wonders if Abarenbou is really at Gamers to "rampage". Dejiko promises to defend Gamers, and starts to warm up. However, Abarenbou starts to do some bad stand up comedy. Dejiko falls down, and though she really didn't lose, she feels like she did. While Abarenbou is still talking, Gamers explodes. Outside, a crowd has gathered to watch the explosion, and Paya Paya cheers. Feeling tired and confused, Pyoko and the Black Gema Gema Dan march home, wondering just what the hell happened to Gamers. Meanwhile, Dejiko and the gang are trying to piece Gamers back together. Minagawa finds a note from Paya Paya that states it was him who destroyed Gamers, concluding that Abarenbou really wasn't at fault. Dejiko wonders where Abarenbou is and looks up at the sky.

Paya Paya is now at home, congratulating himself on a job well done. He opens the door to his private bath, and finds a large hole in the ceiling, and Abarenbou soaking in his bathtub. Abarenbou is quite happy he landed in a nice bath, so he decides to repay Paya Paya by going crazy. Abarenbou proceeds to grow extremely large and scary, and Paya Paya begs for his life....

Episode 4: The bug of summer.
("Natsu no mushi.")

Dejiko is bored, and making assorted funny faces, when a shadow of a stange bug (with a person's head) looms around the corner. Dejiko and the gang don't know who it is, and stare in puzzlement. Suddenly, Paya Paya appears and begins to hit Gamers with a large hammer and chunks of the store start to fly. Paya Paya claims that he only wants to change the store into "a good shop, where good kids go". Dejiko and Gema protest, but Paya Paya silences them with lots and lots of money (though no one mentioned money in the first place...). Rabi~en~Rose steps forward, and asks what makes a "good shop, where good kids go". Paya Paya states that there are two kinds of stores -- the kind that have good kids, and the kind that don't. Since Paya Paya didn't really answer the question, Kimura asks again. Paya Paya ignores the question, and says that he's done fixing the store. Everyone stares in abject horror as the entrance of Gamers has been turned into a disgusting looking insect, with its mouth wide open.

The Manager states that the entrance will scare people away. Paya Paya claims that he doesn't want regular customers anyway, and that only "good, bug loving kids" are the only sort he likes. He goes on to explain that the entrance is meant to make "good kids" feel like they are being eaten by a bug, and proceeds to flick his cigarette butt at Gema. Gema is burned by the cigarette butt. Paya Paya suddenly realizes that "Gamers" is an ugly name for the store, and starts to think of a new name for it. Dejiko starts to get angry. Gema tries to end it all by shooting a poisoned dart at Paya Paya, but Paya Paya retaliates by throwing Gema into the entrance (on the insect's nose). Dejiko goes to save Gema, but throws him back after some of the goo oozes on her.

Paya Paya wonders why no one is going inside. He suddenly pulls out a moldy peach with some bugs in it, and throws it into the store, scaring all the existing customers away. Paya Paya shrugs it off, and strolls inside the store -- he bumps into Hen na Ikomono and offers it a clump of bugs, forcing it to eat them. Hen na Ikomono proceeds to spit the bugs back at him. Paya Paya screams, and Puchiko concludes that Paya Paya actually dislikes bugs.

More customers approach Gamers, and they run away as soon as they see the store. Paya Paya calls a meeting and asks the gang how to make the store a better place. Paya Paya turns to Kimura, and tells him to buy some food (which sounds disgusting). Rabi~en~Rose suggests that the store should be filled with flowers, while Minagawa applauds her idea. Paya Paya spots the dice on Rabi's head and comes to the conclusion that Rabi~en~Rose is a "bad girl" (dice = gambling) and proceeds to yell at both Rabi and Minagawa. Paya Paya starts to cry, and eat the food that Kimura bought -- he starts to break down and spazz. Puchiko tells him to go home, and when Paya Paya gets angry, Kimura covers for Puchiko and says he told Paya Paya to go home. Paya Paya then hits him, in the stomach.

Dejiko has an idea -- she thinks if she suggests something disgusting enough, Paya Paya will give up. Dejiko suggests stringing sea slugs on the ceiling, so that customers can see their internal organs. Paya Paya is so thrilled with the idea, he makes Dejiko is number one assistant, and sets off to add more things to the disgusting plan. Puchiko suddenly says that she likes the store the way it is, and Paya Paya does a double take. Everyone realizes this, and agrees that Gamers was a wonderful place to begin with, and that it is fine the way it is. Paya Paya screams, and then slyly accuses Dejiko and the gang of putting on a false show, to cover up for a bad shop. Paya Paya then places a bomb on the floor and runs off. Everyone runs off as well, but Dejiko stays behind, claiming that Gamers is important to them, and that they can't abandon it -- but someone pulls her away, to safety.

Pyoko suddenly enters the store, and realizes that no one is there. Paya Paya sees Pyoko and instantly falls for her. Dejiko explains that Pyoko is the baddest kid around, and Paya Paya struggles with the idea of such a cute bad kid. Paya Paya runs back to warn Pyoko of the bomb. Pyoko gets bored with standing around and decides to leave, while Hen na Ikomono proceeds to eat the bomb, then spit it back out when Paya Paya arrives. The bomb explodes, and the gang is outside watching a spectacular fireworks show. Paya Paya runs away, and Dejiko promises to forget the whole incident.
