What strikes Nanami as an intriguing character is that out of all the cast, she has more people affixing "-sama" to her name than all of the student council combined, even the Ends of the World himself. She has an entourage, a servant, and with her flamboyant ways, draws every eye to her like a moth to a flame.
Nanami affects and is affected by several characters throughout the series, although, in an anime as tight-woven as Shoujo Kakumei Utena, it's a fair assumption that all characters play an integral role.
