Nanami and Juri don't interact as much with each other, as say Nanami and Utena, but I still think it warrants a little section. Nanami isn't really seen with Juri until the Black Rose Saga -- when Nanami is the student council president. When Nanami states that she is the internim president, Juri simply lets it go, although there was a strong implication that Juri was not at all impressed. What was rather amusing was that during the Black Rose Saga, each of the student council members had their swords taken out of them, and each time Nanami would ask, "How did it feel like? Did it hurt?"

However, Nanami looks up to Juri as someone refined and more mature; during episode 27 ("Nanami's Egg") she is in awe of Juri's maturity and gracefulness as "a woman who has laid many eggs". Because of Juri's commanding presence and beauty, she is Nanami's chief rival for the spotlight. During episode 16 ("Cowbell of Happiness"), Nanami plans her party around a pendant she wants to showcase -- but it is foiled by none other than Juri. She steals the spotlight with her jewelry made exclusively for her by Sorya Rich, because Juri modelled at one time for her. Much to Nanami's despair, Juri's entrance stole the spotlight, and thus began the entire cowbell fiasco. There is some evidence that both Nanami and Juri share a taste for the finer things in life (they are the two most beautiful female characters in SKU) -- at the end of this episode, Juri states that Nanami has been done in by her weakness for brand name goods...when all the while, Juri is sporting loads of jewelry. If anything else, these two share a taste for beautiful jewelry...
